The Heart of Darkness is a challenging, all night time-speed-distance event. It is round 2 of the BC Rally Championship and follows the 2007 BC Rally Regulations and the CARS General Competition Rules. The rally is held in southern British Columbia and runs on straight forward instructions. The event will be approximately 600 km in length with the roads being about 70% gravel and 30% paved. Maximum distance between gas stops is 250 km (150 miles).

Directions to the start.
From Vancouver: Head East on Hwy 1 towards Hope. Bear Right at Exit 170. Turn an almost immediate left at the Traffic Signal (staying on Hwy 1), then Straight Ahead at next Traffic Signal (staying on Hwy 1), and then, after several blocks, turn right onto Wallace St. and locate Rolly’s Restaurant.

FEES and COSTS

$90 ($77 US) for entries received before midnight April 22 th, 2007
$100 ($86 US) for late entries.
Members of West Coast Rally Association, Island Rallysport Club, and Get Real Rally Society are eligible for a $5 CDN ($3 US) discount per member on the team up to $10 CDN.

Maximum entries accepted: 30 . Any entries received above thirty will be notified by phone and held on a waiting list. If entering late, please confirm availability by phone with the registrar. Entry fee cheques may be post dated with April 22 th, 2007, or current dated, for the entry to be accepted.
