The 2005 Midnight Rally is
a one evening time-speed-distance (TSD) event, round
6 of the BC TSD Rally Championship and round 3 of
the Island Rally Series. Midnight is organized by
the Island Rallysport Club; and sanctioned by Rally
Pacific Motorsports and Canadian Association of
Rallysport. Interesting and challenging southern
Vancouver Island roads are used. |
The rally starts in Lake Cowichan
and finishes in Duncan after midnight. It runs on
straight forward instructions given to competitors
prior to the scheduled departure time of the first
car. The route is approximately 350 km in length
using mainline and secondary logging roads (about
80% gravel and 20% pavement). Distance between gas
stops is less than 180 km. Route Book distances
and average speeds are given in metric units. |

$Cdn90.00 ($US80.00) regular entry fee
A discount of $Cdn15.00 ($US13.00) is offered
to members of an RPM affiliated club. An application
for Island Rallysport Club membership ($Cdn40.00
or $US35.00 per year) may be submitted to the
Registrar prior to or at registration. A membership
obtained after Sept 30, 2005 will be valid until
December 31, 2006. Please use “MEMBERSHIP
/ IRC application” link at the bottom of
the RallyBC.com home page to print an application
form.
