CARS is pleased to announce
the continuation of the special travel
program designed to help national
licence holders who will be competing
in the 2005 Canadian Rally Championship.
The program has been put together
by L Hansen’s Forwarding
and Canadian Pacific
Railroad. The travel program
is open to all CARS licenced competitors
in order to help promote participation
in the events of the Canadian
Rally Championship. The program
will be in effect for 2005. Details |

The West
Coast Rally Association is looking
for a donation of a laptop to use in the
scoring and administration of both TSD and
stage events. The laptop should be in working
order and capable of running Windows 2000
operating system (or newer). Hard drive
capacity of 3Mb would suffice. Ethernet
connection, modem and at least 1 usb port
also required.

Soapbox Derby held June 27 in the Kitsilano
area of Vancouver on 4th Ave between Yew and
Burrard. WCRA also sponsored
a car in the event piloted by Nia Parsonage.

“Pacific
Road Runners” present the “Vancouver
First Half – Half Marathon”
in the Stanley Park area. Volunteers wanted
for water station or similar duties. Time
commitment would be for Sunday Feb 08 morning
– 08:00 to 12:00 or stay later and
help pack up. Volunteers receive a T-shirt
and possibly White Spot vouchers.This running
club supports our stage events with equipment
and signs made to order. They have also
provided volunteers on some TSD rallies.WCRA
would like to supply 6-8 volunteers for
this event, no experience needed. Required
equipment: warm and dry gear, good attitude.
